Similan Fundive Tour by Speed Boat + Lunch + Transfer (Include National Park Fee) is a sea day out of Phuket, Thailand: clear water, white-sand bays and time to swim and snorkel between the islands.
The Similan Islands National Park lies about 70 km off the coast of Phang Nga and has some of the clearest water and best coral in Thailand. Boats leave from Tab Lamu pier near Khao Lak, so Phuket pickups start very early. The famous Sail Rock viewpoint on Koh Similan (Island 8) looks over Donald Duck Bay.

The park is open only from about mid-October to mid-May and closes in the monsoon. Expect hotel pickup around 6 AM from Phuket. Bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and a waterproof bag for your phone. Seas can be rough from May to October, when the boat operator may change the route for safety.
Best time to go: november to April is the dry season with calm seas. May to October is the monsoon: cheaper hotels, but some island trips are changed or cancelled because of waves.
