A day trip usually covers the lagoons, a snorkelling stop, Monkey Beach and lunch on Phi Phi Don.

Best time to go: november to April is the dry season with calm seas. May to October is the monsoon: cheaper hotels, but some island trips are changed or cancelled because of waves.
