Alcazar Cabaret Show (Regular Seat), Pattaya

By TourKro News Desk · Thailand DMC & local tour operator · Updated 31 Oct 2026

Short answers to the questions our travellers ask most, from the TourKro team in Thailand.

Questions travellers ask

Is vegetarian and Jain food available?

Yes. Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket have many Indian restaurants with vegetarian and Jain menus. Tell us your food needs and we add meals to your tours.

How many days do I need for Thailand?

Five to six nights covers Bangkok and Pattaya, or Phuket and Krabi. Seven to nine nights lets you combine a city, a beach and an island trip.

Which is better, Phuket or Krabi?

Phuket has more hotels, nightlife and shows; Krabi is quieter and more scenic with easy island trips from Ao Nang. Many travellers do both: they are about 3 hours apart by road.

What should I wear to temples?

Cover shoulders and knees, men and women alike. Remove shoes before entering temple buildings.

Is Thailand safe for families?

Yes, Thailand is one of the most popular family destinations in Asia. Use licensed tour operators, follow boat safety rules and keep valuables in the hotel safe.

Stay safe

  • Use registered taxis or the Grab app and agree the price or use the meter.
  • Be careful with strangers who say an attraction is closed and offer another trip: it is a common trick.
  • Keep a copy of your passport on your phone and the original in the hotel safe.
  • Thailand’s Tourist Police helpline is 1155 (English spoken).

What it means for your budget

  • Plan a small buffer for fees and price changes in your budget.
  • Carry some Thai baht in cash for markets, taxis and tips; cards work in malls and hotels.
  • Compare exchange rates before you change money; airport counters are often more expensive.
  • Our tour prices are shown in rupees and include what is listed, so there are no surprises.

Thailand this month (October)

Rains ease on the Andaman coast; Similan Islands reopen around 15 October. Festivals: Diwali trips from India start (October or November)..

City of the day: Pattaya

Pattaya is a beach city on the Gulf of Thailand, about 150 km (2 hours) south-east of Bangkok. It is known for Coral Island, cabaret shows such as Alcazar and Tiffany's, Walking Street nightlife and family attractions like Nong Nooch Garden and the Sanctuary of Truth.
